I have taken many customer cars from stock ~180 whp to ~250+ whp for less than $2k. With good maintenance and proper fuel it will last 100k+ in this form assuming the engine is in good health and not higher mileage now.
New 2016 veloster turbo owner! Excited and need some guidance.
Hey guys, super excited to be in a my RedLoster! I've modded a FRS and WRX and it's now time to have fun with my Veloster. So where do I begin? My goal is to keep same engine and most likely same turbo and crank out as much HP as possible with out having to dump THOUSANDS into the car. Would be happy 250-300 hp maybe more if that's not too optimistic? Was thing CAI, Gut the cat, Cat back exhaust expand size of pipe a bit let it breathe, crank up the boost a bit and tune her up. Any other mods that aren't ridiculously expensive and how much gains I can get out of it and better question how much HP can this engine and stock turbo handle while still being a daily driving and lasting well over 100,000 miles if well maintained? How are the dreams looking? Someone guide me how to get there and where to start or crush them lol.

Here is what I typically do to get the results with customer 16 VT:
Intake, good oem coils, heat range 9 plugs, wmi kit, tb spacer, gut cats, stage 1 tune on 91 or higher octane fuel.
