New Cat-Back

Spoke with Daryl at Everlast Mufflers today about doing a cat-back for my VT.
Already had a Magnaflow muffler and Y-pipe on me that I bought off Amazon. Quoted me $380-440. Booked in for next Saturday

Even though plenty of people have done a custom Magnaflow exhaust now, I'll see if I can do a before and after video.

Edit: Added video

Definitely post before and after. next saturday, you mean tomorrow?
It's already Saturday afternoon in Australia so he would probably mean next Saturday as tomorrow is Sunday ;)

New exhausted fitted. Sounds great, but maybe a touch on the loud side.
Paid $420 for the work done, $73.25 for the muffler, $29.41 for the Y-Pipe, $38.95 for shipping the two parts, bringing me to a total of $561.61
I'll record some 'after' footage and see if i can upload the comparison video tonight.

Edit: Either I'm getting used to the volume, or my exhaust seems to be quieting down. Carbon build-up dampening the sound?
Uploaded a video. Its in the first post.

Today I learnt the audio recording quality in my phone (Lumia 920) is sub-par, so it doesn't really do neither the stock or new exhaust any justice. Video quality is good though...

The matting is 'seating'. It's normal behavior.
.. Either I'm getting used to the volume, or my exhaust seems to be quieting down. ...
I thought the same with my Solo .. or maybe it's because I've turned the stereo back on after a couple of weeks
Like the sound dude, what part numbers did you use might have to head on over to pay them a visit :)
