I ordered three sets. The first two set had white in front on the black grill and black for the back on the white rear. Both black badges looked terrible. Finish wasn't smooth or even so gave up on the black. I just put the white ones on and will be leaving the one on the front as I like it white on black. As for the back my intention was to put a black one on and I might plasti dip it. But im starting to like the white cause it stand out less and makes people look harder. One I plasti dip it I'll repost pics and see what everyone thinks.

I'm not sure what the "Square Root" Edition you speak of is or why it would look better. And the point is to be subtle. This in my opinion isn't a fancy car. Its a Hyundai with a turbo motor. Not a Genisis or an Equis or a BMW or Merc. I dont want flash. No chrome. No hey look at me. The only thing people should be looking at are my exhaust tips. So if you think it looks plain then mission accomplished.

He is referring to the fact that the "V" with the tail is not unlike the symbol for square root.

All those cars you named are way more subtle than our veloster. I loved the veloster from the very beginning because it looks like a concept car and attracts attention w its exterior styling. There's absolutely no hiding it. People who know nothing about cars see the veloster and say, "WHAT IS THAT?!" Its a head turner for sure. And the V looks identical to the square root symbol that's all I was saying. It was a play on words...

I agree. I love the "what is that" and the looks of people trying to figure out what it is. I'm very proud its a Hyundai so I'm not trying to hide that at all. I just like making people wonder what they hell it is! As for subtle, I can only go so subtle before its becomes boring. To each there own but I appreciate the positive and constructive comments. As long as we all love our VT's that's all that matters!

The one devil claw wasn't by choice lol. Only the top claw fits. In order to get the second one to fit I will have to modify it. I was planning on doing it but now that you say that I'm not sure. Never look at it that way. I suppose it is unique. Thoughts if I should leave it like that?
