Hey, new here. I migrated over from the other veloster forum.
Owned our VT for about a month now its an AT, Light gray pearl, black/blue interior.
So Far we love it. Great car and gets WAY better mileage than I was expecting.
Its really fun to drive and the sound system is excellent.

looking forward to talking with you all.

Welcome! A fellow Canadian and the first person I've come across that has the Light Grey Pearl. My getting that colour was a "take it or wait 6 weeks" deal and since I had to turn in my old lease I took it. It's been a little over a week and I'm coming to really appreciating that colour. I hope you enjoy yours as well.

Cheers!
Chris

P.S. I just saw your comment about the tint - not only is it great for the summers, it looks AMAZEBALLS on this colour of car (check out the photos and see what you think).

Wow.. Ive been gone a while.. Totally missed this.
That looks REALLY good with the tint. I have yet to do this as my GFs truck went through a fuel pump and a few other things that set me back a bit.
I'm looking at tinting in May, and getting my ARK GT-F springs installed. Also Painting my calipers blue when I swap out the winter wheels for the summers.
What % tint is that ? Do you find it bad at Night?

Yes, that's the one I have. Sounds good IMO. Not cheap though.

I was wondering about it but couldn't really find any info.. Got any sound clips? EDIT - I assume this is the Factory Performance exhaust ?

Its sound pretty good... Hard to tell in these videos though because everything sounds way different. In one video I LOVE the magnaflow, and I can watch another one and hate it..

I want to mod a little bit but worry about the dealer trying to give me warranty trouble if I ever need to go in.. I know they have to prove that whatever I did caused the problem but I know some places get pretty creative..

on another note, adding to the thread...
I JUST picked up some ARK GT-F springs this weekend. May be a while till I get them on though.

I don't have a sound clip yet. I'll try to make one today and post it.

I fear the same thing for my warranty... That's why I'm figuring I'll leave the engine mods alone for now and stick to suspension/brakes/cosmetic modding.

Yeah... My "BIG' plans are only bolts-ons anyhow...But I worry they'll say they are the cause of any failures...
I just wanted
Springs - got'em.. I can accept that If my shocks blow out I'll need to replace them on my own dime...
Exhaust and Typhoon intake - this is where I worry they'll try and screw me if anything ever happens... As if my car breathing too well will cause a catastrophe.... But who knows with them..
Wheels/Tires.. Warranty on those are useless anyways...

I want a BOV but can't really see if they are detrimental to our BPV system.. I am still reading up if this will be a negative change or not....
