Hi Everyone!
Just joined the site. I'm hoping to get my hands on a VT very soon, just waiting until I find the I want. I do have a few questions for you that already have the car.
I haven't been able to find one to take a test drive, so I was wondering how it drives, specifically compared to a 2012 GTI. My friend just bought one, and I'm learning how to drive stick on it (VT WILL be manual). I love the way it drives, and I'd like to see similar performance in the VT. I realize it's not going to be the same, I just would be disappointed to see a huge drop off in overall performance.
Secondly, I was at the dealer today talking about specs and features. One thing that I really liked on a few cars is hill assist, considering I live in a hilly on the east coast. I noticed online it said it was on the DCT only, but when I asked the dealer he said it was a misprint, that the manuals had it too. He didn't sound convincing, so I figured i'd ask you guys.
Lastly (and sorry for the longer first post), how is the interior. I sat in a regular Veloster, but I know some things will be different. Is it mostly soft, or do the surfaces feel hard. Lastly, is the interior roof black, or is it grey like the normal models.
Sorry for the weird questions, just being picky about what I want. I was told at the dealer that Vitamin C manuals are very hard to come by, but I'm hoping i'll get lucky. Thanks!
