Yes, very exciting. Dealerships are starting to have VTs allocated in their systems. It won't be long now!
I'm not buying until the 2nd model year comes out, so 2014, so I'm in no rush and am interested in how they will replycall and ask for sales manager
Here is another interesting site to check out, lots of infoI found a web site called carbuyingtips.com and one of their recommendations is to not pay more that 5% over the REAL factory to dealer invoice, which is considerably less than msrp. I have been trying to get invoice info but all search sites (Edmunds, CarWoo, Autobytel) do not yet have vt information. A little worrisome since it sounds like some of us may be seeing our cars soon. At any rate, it is a good website that explains hold backs and factory incentives to dealers, many of which the dealers will get no matter what we pay, so why let them get paid twice. It's worth a look but if anyone out there has better info let me know.
To my knowledge and research, there are no holdbacks nor any factory incentives to the dealers for Veloster...that tells us one thing...Veloster is a high demand car that won't sit in the lot for long. Dealer Invoice is the true cost of dealers paying for the Veloster...therefore, you won't get anywhere less than invoice price...The difference between MRSP and dealer invoice is around 6%...I got mine at 3% less than the MRSP plus few freebies thrown in...You just got to shop around and try to negotiate.I found a web site called carbuyingtips.com and one of their recommendations is to not pay more that 5% over the REAL factory to dealer invoice, which is considerably less than msrp. Very interesting....to my knowledge, there are ALWAYS factory to dealer incentives so the dealer can negotiate and see some sort of profit. I'll take your information into consideration but still going to do some digging just to see for myself. BTW, where did you find the dealer invoice? Have you taken delivery of your vt yet?To my knowledge and research, there are no holdbacks nor any factory incentives to the dealers for Veloster...that tells us one thing...Veloster is a high demand car that won't sit in the lot for long.
