Hi there,

I just bought my new Veloster Turbo

I would like to add some HIDs but I havent done that in a projector headlight before, I used to have HIDs on my altima and it was plug and play.
in this car is plug and play too? I dont remember where but I saw something about a cap that is behind the projector that needed to be replace or something like that.

Any advise pls guys

you can use the stock cap and use a bore drill bit to make a hole. I think it is 1 inch dia. you don't need to pay $20 for another set that is exactly the same thing.

And many hid kits have some issue with them that needs fixing, make sure you buy quality products. Diode dynamics is good, but the 30 amp relays suck ass "they shipped me 2 and both died in 2 days", i ended up getting a generic 40 amp automotive relay from advance-auto and it fixed all my issues.

I have a brand new HID kit all I need are the bulbs, Do I need a relay? with my old Altima I didnt need it

you would want a wire harness w/relay if only to make sure you don't have warranty issues if something electrical happens to your car. technically you dont HAVE to . its a good idea tho.
