Anyone have any idea why my center console screen doesn't show the outside temperature anymore? Just has a blank right before the degrees ferenheit symbol. Was working before.

What you need to do, is remove your front bumper to get access to the sensor which is below center in front of radiator. Just unplug both sensor plugs and if you have a air compressor just blow air into both male and female connector then re-plug them back in. Before you install your bumper back on, turn your car on first to see if the temp will show up again. Hope this help.

You can also use electrical cleaner. I keep cans of everything. Usually I forget I even have it and end up with multiple cans.

Bump, just lost mine... may be related to getting washed. I am putting in HIDs soon so will check it then.

Read on another forum that it ended up being a loose connector in the dash for someone, repaired at the dealership. Now their dash rattles.
Hope the above remedy fixes the problem, don't want them in the dash.

Thought I'd bump this to see if any more input as been acquired. I currently, have this problem and the dealership put two new sensors in and they told me they didn't work and must be related to my aftermarket gauges. I have a boost gage and and an oil pressure sensor. Needless to say...I find their results to be less than satisfying.

Ok, I have seen this on several Velosters that have come into my dealership. There is a short to power on the Temp sensors wiring harness, right before it hits the sensor at the front bumper, a few inches from the sensor will be a break in the wire. Take it to the dealership and have it fixed under warranty.

Hold the ac button and the recirculation button in your car for 10 seconds at same time. It should reset your outside temp sensor. It will move up and down for a little while but it will get back if your sensors in working order.
