2013 Veloster Turbo - 104k miles (168k km's) fully stock.

Just had the crankshaft position sensor replaced when doing an oil change at the dealer like 3 weeks ago.

Driving a few days ago and CEL came on. Checked the codes, they were P0133 and P2237. From limited info available it seems it is a bank 1, sensor 1 oxygen sensor? Can anyone confirm? I recorded the codes, then cleared them to see if it was just a fluke. But yesterday the CEL popped back on with the same codes.

Not saying the previous dealership appointment had anything to do with it, but I wasn't there to see the work in person. Odd coincidence though (and probably because I have had less then stellar experiences with these types of places in the past). I wouldn't put it past them to accidentally remove it when searching for the position sensor and not re-tighten it or something properly. Or even just loosen it on purpose to be completely honest about how I think they run their ships.

What is the stock part number for this part? And has anyone had the same code(s) fixed in the past. I would like to replace myself if I can (any links to a how to?) As I did the plugs and coils and other things in the past with 0 issues. Hoping the placement of this can be reached (unfortunately don't have the tools or space to jack up and get under the car, or would have did the crankshaft myself too (and oil changes for that matter).

Thanks for any info

Hi... Did you get any luck with the p2237 code?
No idea really, as far as I can tell from my limited time searching it's the oxygen sensor in bank 1, sensor 1. But still not completely sure.

It came back on after I cleared it, then went away for 2/3 days. Only to come back on again.

Car otherwise seems to be running fine.

Just some quick things I am going to try:
1) My gas tank cap stopped "click locking" into place last month. Might replace that
2) Going to change where I am getting my gas, as I have been using a new station recently

In the meantime I am going to grab a MAP/MAF and replace it since it seems cheaper and accessible. And if that fails then buy an oxygen sensor for Bank 1 / Sens 1 and if I can't get to it have it replaced next oil change and see.

If none of those 4 work, I am completely out of ideas TBH

Still running fine, this time code cleared on it owns without coming back on after 300 or so km's. If it doesn't come back on will put it down to the cap and/or bad gas.

If it pops back on again after changing gas stations. Will look back into the MAP/MAF and/or the O2 sensor(s)
