Coming home this afternoon I lost boost. Made it home ok but the boost never came back. Code reader shows the P0299 code (Turbocharger not providing a normal amount of boost) I opened the hood, checked all the intake piping and couldn't see anything off. The car sat for 30 mins and I drove again. Everything worked good for about 7 minutes and then lost the boost again. Called the dealer and will drop it off in the morning.

I will keep y'all posted as to what they find.

BPV stuck open?
Nope checked that. It's the forge BOV and it is working fine. The engine makes a tiny bit of boost, enough so that when you let off you can hear pshhhhh. I also visually checked it with my wife revving the engine it is working normal. I'm thinking more along the lines of waste gate stuck open.

It's gotta be a wastegate or a vacuum issue. The forge will work without boost because it is so sensitive.

Does it feel like it is boosting a bit or none at all?

Weird that it would be fine after sitting but then come back to not working at all.

There is just enough pressure that you can hear the forge open but not enough for any power. I really do think the waste gate is sticking. I just dropped it off, so should know something soon.

Well, The car could actually create ZERO boost and still open the forge when you shift, which is why I was asking.

When Holger didn't tighten one of the clamps on his FMIC kit, it popped off and that was NO boost.. Felt like the car was a snail. haha
