I am still running the stock BPV and my only mod is a Injen SRI installed about 3-4 years ago. If I recall correctly I got the error shortly after the install and have just been staring at the error ever since. I have tried deleting it but it just continues to come back after a day or 2. Also more recently(starting maybe 1.5 years ago) a flutter noise. Ive read all the threads and they seemed a little imcomplete for those having this issue with the stock BPV. After reading the one with member Swordfish's solution, I jumped the gun and purchased the dorman vacuum reservoir and noticed after this solution is only for people with aftermarket BOVs. I will look into replacing the RCV Solenoid, BPV or checking damaged lines but first would it hurt if I installed the vacuum reservoir just to see if it would work. Is there any harm in trying this to my engine? If this does not resolve the issue or is not recommended by the members here has anyone ever installed an aftermarket BPV instead of going with a BOV. Is there an aftermarket RCV solenoid also?

Ill go with the turbosmart model. I see different options, 1 is the compact plumb back (which recirculates 100% of the air back) or Kompact Dual port that allows for 50/50 or full recirculate or full release to atmosphere). $50 price difference. Which should I get?

Glad to see this brought up, I have a bone stock 2013 turbo with 82k that started flashing this code. All the info I was finding about this code seemed to be related to mods, but no one reporting it with a stock setup.

Brought it to my mechanic today to let them check it out.

Everyone was correct it was my stock Bpv. I purchased a GFB BOV and went to install it last night.Upon removal found 2 tears in the cheap diaphragm design of the stock unit. Pictures attched. Unfortunately though this did not fix the code. I deleted the code and after just driving for 10 minutes (heavy on the throttle) the code came back. I wonder now if I do the additional vacuum mod if this will completely resolve it. Anyone else think thiS should be my next step to resolving this code?

maybe try pulling the battery terminals for 30 minutes first? after you reset the codes.
