Ever since I got my VT I've wanted to remove the corner reflector in the headlights, so I bit the bullet

Took me a while to get the light separated

Then Just painted the reflector gloss black

PlastiDip is still holding up great!

Well it says it took him a while to open up the headlight so I would assume the inside

I painted the reflector inside the lens, and my roof is the only thing not plastidipped, my whole car is plastidipped white. http://www.velosterturbo.org/forum/veloster-appearance/3106-whole-car-plasti-dipped-white.html

Probably took me 3-4 hours with some time for the paint to dry. It was a pain and kinda scary to pull them apart but its totally worth it in the end. Especially in our cars since the reflector is so huge.

Is the dip for the winter or all year long?
I did it back in july as a test and was surprised at how well it came out, and kept it on to protect the paint in the winter. Depending on how well it peels off I might do it every fall to save my paint.
