Painted reflectors

Ever since I got my VT I've wanted to remove the corner reflector in the headlights, so I bit the bullet

Headlamp Automotive lighting Light Auto part Vehicle


Took me a while to get the light separated

Then Just painted the reflector gloss black

PlastiDip is still holding up great!

Question #1 Did you dip the inside or outside of the lense?

Question #2 Did you Dip your roof too???
I painted the reflector inside the lens, and my roof is the only thing not plastidipped, my whole car is plastidipped white. http://www.velosterturbo.org/forum/veloster-appearance/3106-whole-car-plasti-dipped-white.html

How long did it take you OP...Are you happy with the outcome?
Probably took me 3-4 hours with some time for the paint to dry. It was a pain and kinda scary to pull them apart but its totally worth it in the end. Especially in our cars since the reflector is so huge.
