So, I know I seem to have a lot of little gremlins with my car, and some may wonder, why haven't you just taken it in yet? Well one, I don;t have time lol, two, I want to make sure that when I do take it in, I can address every little problem I have had.

So anywho, It would seem my passenger side door unlock has stopped working. I usually like ot have my GF just hit it so that I don't have to try and press mine twice before she tries to open the door(lol) but lately it will not work. if I walk to the passenger side and press it, it works fine, but if my fob is just on the other side of the car, it will not. But I can still lock/unlock the car from a good distance with the fob. I am thinking something is wrong with the button itself maybe?
Anyone else run into this issue?

The exterior unlock button?
She won't be able to unlock her door if the fob is in your pocket on the drivers side of the car and vise versa. If you want all the doors to unlock with one press of the unlock button you can do that. I'll look for the steps needed to change the settings....

oh damn, I looked through my hand book and never saw you could program that. It says in the booklet that from factory pressing the driver side while locked requires two quick presses to unlock, and the passenger side only one. My concern was that she used to be able to press the button, and the car would unlock if I was at the drivers door, then it would only work sometimes, and now not at all.

I will re program it to be changed, but my concern is that my passengers could unlock the door by pressing the button, and then it was only sometimes, and now they can't at all.

Thanks for the help guys. :)

I tried that a few days after I picked up the car and if the fob is at the driver side the passenger unlock button on the door does not work. The outside button on the door handle will only work if the fob is near that door. It has always been like that for me. I wish that wasn't the case but I swear it did work like how u described when I first got the car but not 100% sure
