I’ve tried to do some reading lately and I can’t really learn what I’m looking for. Can someone explain how the PCV Valve works on this car? Also can I change it pretty easy?(On my 2011 cruze turbo it was built in to the valve cover 🤮) I’ve noticed my oil consumption and I believe a little bit of black smoke as I was tailing someone else driving my car last night. Just wondering if it’s a PCV problem.

Easy to change. That and how it works can be searched and found easily. It will not cause black smoke though.

not sure if you are modded or not... but the PCV isn't causing black smoke. Black smoke is almost always due to a rich fuel mixture. As for the PCV, cheap and easy to handle though.
