You are not close to the end of your break-in period yet. Don't floor it or rev it up until after 600 miles. With my VT the break-in period lasted until 3,000 miles. It does get noticeably better at 600 and 1,200 miles too though.
Wait it out and decide if you want to tune it after it is broken in. A couple things will make it faster after it is broken in - especially off the line - turn off the ECT and put softer tires on it. I was skeptical about turning off the ECT, it does get rid of the turbo hesitation but it will introduce you to the rev limiter too. Softer tires have dropped the 0-60 times for members here as well as for magazine reviewers. Clearly traction is a big part of the limiting factor the ECT and the turbo.
I'm a big sunroof guy and had to have the ultimate package on my VT. Now that I have it the panoramic moonroof isn't all it is cracked up to be. The main problems I have with it is that the opening over the front seats is quite small and it is very noisy at anything above 40 mph. The other problem I have with it is that I park on the 5th floor of a tight parking garage and in the morning when I hit the first few tight and abrupt ramps the top creaks. The fixed metal roof is probably stiffer. I still like the glass panoramic roof overall, but if you aren't a sunroof guy then you are not missing anything.
