Lots of smoke and engine stalls when idling also kinda sounds like the impeller is hitting the sides of the turbo when revving it. Smokes really bad when letting off the throttle and engine braking. Started taking things apart expecting to find oil in the piping but nothing.

Any way to know for sure before taking the turbo off?

Smoke looked grey coolant is full and oil was low I just checked compression 160 170 160 150 built and held good cylinders are oily inside
