Hi everyone. I just purchased a VT yesterday and am picking her up tonight! She is a Matte gray manual transmission and was sitting in the show room for three months before I found her. I'm going to post pictures soon.

nice welcome there r a few matte guys on here that will give you a some tips on keeping her clean

I'm jealous! The only regret that I have is not getting the matte grey finish.

When I bought mine matte grey VT's with a MT were not available at any cost.

The guys with matte grey VT's on this forum report that they are actually very easy to maintain - as do BMW owners with their frost finish.

Congrats! I travel to Boston daily, see you around town. Matte gray finish is easy to care for. I've got over 13k highway miles now (bought Nov) and wished I had put on the 3m protection in front. The matte finish takes a beating.

I saw a modern Dodge Charger with an aftermarket black matte paint job today and it made me really appreciate the matte grey finish on the VT.

It lacked a consistent finish and the hard top coat. You can't underestimate how important a consistent finish is until you see a bad one.
