Soo, 1st post here but I've been lurking for about 6 months ago..
And with the prices becoming official and posted I am started to drool a bit in anticipation. Im looking to sell off my 02 Durango for part of the down payment, should have between 8-10K in cash to put down, but as with everything else I buy online I always ALWAYS find discounts.. I didnt see this stuff posted here but here is what I've found so far.
www.Motozuma.com is offering 500$ matched down payment, this is the only place Ive found so far offering a discount.
This is my first time using the site but its kinda neat that its like a savings account attached to a facebook style messaging system so you can spam your parents/friends/family on holidays to put money in your bucket.. Totally wouldnt mind if anyone here donated
www.motozuma.com\TheGeekFreek
(Note that Motozuma is dealer specific!!)
Alternately, I've been told about a site called Hassle-Free Car Buying Experience from Local Dealers - TrueCar that will sometimes give you discounts, but also gives you certain price points on the cars for all those good negotiators out there. Honestly, Im a terrible negotiator.. I do all my research up front and walk in with a plan/demands.. and well, if they arent met I will go else where..
I've heard good things about both sites.. I've signed up for Motozuma but I have no dropped any cash there yet as Im in the process of buying a house and need to keep all funds available until its settled. As far as I know there is no benefit to marking me as a referral, but feel free to.
