Okay so I got my car about 5 months ago from a little dealership in town. Since I’ve had it my radio has not worked. I had a 1,000 mile warranty so they told me bring it back they’ll fix it, I got my car back they told me oh we just unplugged it and plugged it back and now it’s working, I leave, it sounds muffled and can’t turn it up loud I get maybe a mile down the road and it cuts back off. By this point I’m done dealing with the dealership and I’ve just been using my boom box lol any ideas? I’m assuming probably speakers. My radio has power, I can connect my phone to Bluetooth, it recognizes when I make calls, I just can’t hear anything. But really what are the odds every single speaker is busted?

I just have a Vbase, not a turbo. And no, I’m not having any other issues than there being no sound.

a base? like a base non turbo? style non turbo? tech non turbo?

i see dimension there on the headunit but no GPS so it has to be atleast a style package, or remix or the other re-something they did where they added all chrome.

my experience would make me think it's the amp and not the radio. it's under the passenger seat. i would check the connections and stuff there. have you tried a reset as well?

Just a base from what I’ve learned. This is my first Veloster so I’m a newb and I’ve only had it a few months. But it’s before rear view camera and everything, no gps, the og lol I’ve got Bluetooth and that’s about as good as it gets.

I haven’t tried resetting it or anything, the dealership I got it fromwas going to try changing out the amp too but they unplugged the radio and replugged it and it “started working” for 2 seconds. But thanks for your input, I’m going to mess with it this weekend, hopefully it’s simple as that.
