Hi all!

New to the forum, and as of the last 6 months a new Veloster Rally Edition owner!

I've tried searching whether the 18x7.5" Ray's GramLights that come with the Rally Edition would allow for wheel spacers? From what I've read, stock VT wheels have little cut outs to fit the spacers nice and safely but there's no info if the Ray's wheels have these.

I'm looking at the garage line 20/f 25/r or the H&R trak+ which I can get 20/f 20/r.

Thanks for your help!

I don’t think they are anything special. What are you looking at for spacers?

These spacers:

They are hub-centric specific for VT, but from what I've read on other threads if the wheels are not from Hyundai they won't fit properly. These wheels are not made by Hyundai but are standard for the car.

With OEM tire size you can go 15 mm max and not rub when lowered or suspension loaded up. Hope this helps.

Maybe an actual rally owner can chime in? It’s strange that they would manufacture X amount of limited wheels in a specific center bore when 99% of their other wheels use hub centric spacers.

He posted pics of the rally wheels in another thread which really does not matter here. All wheels that come on a VT have the same lug type and bore diameter thus these spacers will fit perfectly fine other than maybe being too thick for OEM tire/wheel specs especially if lowered. Guy just read misinformation somewhere along the way like many do.

I just saw, like you said the spacers will work fine.

it also looks like the rally wheels posted are missing hubcentric rings.

Hub centric rings are only needed if wheels have a larger center bore than the hub. Wheels that come OEM on cars are made to fit the hubs therefore do not need hub centric rings.

Sorry about that, I'll upload the pics here too just in case other people looking for information want to see what they look like. I've never used spacers before on any car hence my question after reading about other people's issues. I don't plan on lowering the car... but since it'll need new shocks soon I might opt for some nice coilovers instead and drop the car no more than 1".

I appreciate all the info and help guys, thank you! I'll be ordering the spacers soon and then I'll post on my build thread the results of the install.
