I got a request from a forum member to see what I could do to get rid of the rear reflector. Played around with it a bit today, but will need to come up with some sort of shield so you won't see all the innards.

How much would you charge for the hood vents wrapped cf vinyl? Not the functional one

With new vents it would be $55. The problem with the vinyl is the heat. Let me check what I can get them hydro-dipped for and I'll let you know. If I throw them in with some other things he is doing for me it should the same or maybe less. It would look like the CF on my engine cover and it could be gloss or matte.

Cool I would like to do a number of things like vents, fog light bezel and rear bumper reflector piece that u have here but will this mod if possible

Perfect...was going to do the lighted ones but this is bad ass. Never could figure out the reasoning behind the reflectors.

I think it's law that you have to have them. But, I saw some little ones that are used to mount the license plate and that should meet the requirement.

I also wanted to suggest this but you already seemed to be working too much. It looks great!

Try hiding the innards with some black speaker grill cloth. I have some ceiling speakers in my house and the manufacture used some white cloth on the inside of the cover to hide the speaker. Just a thought .

I was thinking of using some styrene plastic that I cold mold with some heat and then it could fasten in with the screws that mounted the reflector to the trim.

You are correct. There is a law requiring reflectors. Its just that most tail lights have them built in. Is there anything built into the veloster`s tail light? I'm guessing not.

Wow that looks awesome! I always hated the reflected, why I blacked Em out but these look awesome!

As far as legality, the odds of a cop pulling you over for lack of reflectors are slim to none, just don't want light to leak so that it looks oem.
