Not sure if the two are correlated but shortly after installing my rally armor mud flaps, I've noticed that every time I get out of the car, I notice some squeaking coming from somewhere as I'm stepping out. This squeaking sound happens from time to time while I'm driving as well. Anyone know what could be wrong?

On an unrelated note, the fog indicator light on my dashboard is showing up as blue instead of the normal orange color. Is that an indication that the bulbs are out? I only have about 7k miles on my vt and rarely drive at night. Seems kind of soon to be replacing the bulbs already.

You mean the light that tells you your fog lights are on? That has never been blue or orange. Always green. Picture would help here.

Oh, that's odd. Pic please!!!! Now the only blue one should be your high beams, and when they are on, the fogs don't come on. You know that, right?

Nvm I'm stupid haha, must of accidentally switched the high beams on. Any idea on why the squeaking might be happening?

Now that would be the needle in the hay stack! Only someone next to your car can help you with that. I can tell you mine is close to 12k miles and no squeaking at all.

Are you wearing socks when you hear the squeak? RA mud flaps are know to interact poorly with some brands of socks.

No, I have no clue.

Does it go away if you remove the mud flaps?

Haven't had the chance to take off the mud flaps yet but I'll get them off sometime this weekend and see if the noise goes away.

took the mud flaps off today and still getting the squeaking sound might go get it checked out on Saturday. I have a question though. I got into an accident a couple months ago (not horrible, had to get the grill, and passenger side bumper and fender replaced) so I have a warranty through the body shop I used as well as the hyundai warranty. Should I go to that body shop to get it checked out or should I just schedule something with my dealership. Kinda confused on how my accident is going to affect my factory warranty.
