Can anyone recommend a good door replacement speaker, besides stock? My front right is blown. I figure I'll replace the 3 door speakers myself.

I don't want to put in an Amp or mess with the tweeters.

Yes I do believe so if you have a 12 13 or 14 the stealer ship should fix it (replace)for you for free if it's a 15 they won't replace it but just glue the dust cap back on

I went with alpine spe-6000 all around. Love the way the sound. Just a heads up before you pull the door panel off the speakers are rivited into the door.

Dont bother unriviting them, just take a flathead and pop out the shitty stock soft parts, a pair of dikes to snip the magnet basket away and boom pre-made speaker pods. just dont let anything fall into the door. no need to save the garbage speakers.

If you want good speakers that are known for their quality and sound , also look at Cresendo Audio. very affordable and well made stuff.

Over time it falls off due to poor glue choice on Hyundai's Speaker dealers part. They already will reglue or replace them for free under warranty.

A few people here have Alpine SPR-60C and people seem to love them

Has anyone figured out how to get to the speaker without removing the whole door panel? If I'm going to attempt to remove the dust caps, I'd rather just pull the speaker grills off, if possible?
But I haven't seen anyone been able to do that. Looks like you have to remove the door panel. GiB

If you have a big hole-saw you could do it. Or a jigsaw if you're less concerned with it looking pretty.

I put all Digital Design ( DD ) in mine and love them.

You can probably get some off ebay also.

The panel is an easy removal. Just pick up some extra trim clips. I went all Alpine Type R.

i believe they are sonic welded in place or at least with a ton of tiny clips that require you to take the panel off.
