Ok. So I am attempting to pull the front badge off and dip it. The problem I am having is I can't figure out how to get the damned badge itself off. I have the grill out and everything, but the badge has two clips in there that I can't figure out how to remove.

Has anyone taken the badge off yet or figured out how to get those clips off?

dip it while on the car.. SO MUCH EASIER!!!

That is how I did mine.. and then peel away the excess.. That is the joy of plasi-dip vs. painting.

I'm with ya on the ease. I just figured that since I have the grille off, why not make a go of it. I just like tinkering with EVERYTHING and then something like this comes up.

Oh and what the hell is with Hyundai's obsession with screws? Holy damn are there an ass load of screws on the back side of that bumper........

Those are push-on, no remove type clips. You might try turning them while pulling them, attempting to get it off.

The posts will break off and that's not too much of a problem - Just have to figure a way to get it back on after the work.

Super Glue comes to mind.

Not a bad idea at all. I will give it a shot. I appreciate it.
