Hey, so i snapped a few of my studs on my spacers and i'm looking to replace the studs all around on the spacers.

My spacers are 20mm I read that the m12x1.5 stock studs overall lenght front:49mm, so logic would dictate I require studs that are 69mms in length. My logic isnt always sound so im hoping you guys can help me find which studs I needs. Do I need a special knurl or spline? What other information am I missing? Anyone care to point me to the studs I need?

UPDATE

I've since learned that the studs in the spacers are
M12-1.5
Length under head 40mm
Knurl 14mm <-- can be a bit higher for press fit?
Shoulder length 6mm

I might have found a few from Dorman, Part #'s: 610-245, 610-266, 610-275.

Any advice?

... snapped a few?......

Hammer it out.. double-nut stack and pull the new stud in. I had garage line send me a new stud when I stripped one

I had some winter tires and rims on my spacers, either they were over torqued or a little loose (I let my dad do my wheel swap) and I think 3-4 of the stud tips snapped off in the front two wheels. Out of fear of dying I'd rather just get new studs all around. Whats a double nut stack? I dont think I need to hammer it out since its still partially there.

Have you contacted the vendor or manufacturer of the spacers?
Yes, Turbosocks informed me they were m12x1.5, but was not sure on the length

Those are really close, but are about 51mm long. I measured the ones I pressed out of the spacers and they are overall length 45mm. I roughly estimated the shoulder length to be about 6-7mm, but i dont want to guess =x.

And wow those studs are expensive!

Hmm, when this happened to me a couple years back, everyone said I was doing something wrong. Now a bunch of people have snapped studs.

I didn't use lock tight, and I torqued to the proper specs and they just snapped on me (thankfully in a parking lot).

I opted to just take them off, cause it's not worth potential death / damage.

Double nut stack is for pulling the new stud in place..
-Just hammer the old one out
-set the new one in place losely
-Put 1-2 oversized nuts on the end (Must be too big to thread, but small enough for the lug to not fit through)
-Tighten the lug and it will pull the stud into the spacer.
(The oversized nuts allow it to spin without tightening to the spacer)
