So the guy buying my tubro kit from my other car told me his tax return cam in today and he will be paying me this weekend! which means, I will probably go that same night depending on time to go get myself a shiny new VT since that is all I had left to get my 5k down that I wanted.
Now my biggest dilema is finally deciding on whether I want a white or blue car. I love the panda look, but I always really really wanted an sti, and the blue just stirs up that feeling lol. So I am pretty sure it will be blue, I guess it all comes down to whats available. I know there is a thread for if people regret there choice, but did anyone else have as much trouble with the choice as I am having? I have gone back and forth sooooo many times lol.

So I went to the dealershipo yesterday, two actually, and the first dealer tried to rape me with payments of 499 a month, and 15.99 apr. I have a credit score of 721, but because I have no previous auto loans, they are going off my "auto" score of 588. The first dealer I went to, the people were rude, and unwilling to even try to get where I wanted my payments, which would be 300 or so. So I went to the next dealer, and they came back initially with a 10.99 and 430/mo which was still high, but getting closer. My dad doesnt have great credit, but he has a nice established income of 4k/mo, where mine is 2k/mo and so they are going to get back to me today with a new figure on if he co signs

I came in with 4500 down, which I thought was good, but they didn't seem to think so :/

I will not get the car if the payments aren't where I want, and I have made that very clear to the dealerships.

So what I'm getting at, is it normal to get this worked over?

Also, neither dealership knows anything about the hyundai think tank

my experience was with this car in particular they weren't willing to budge much on the price. I ended up with payments of $320 over 60 months while putting down $6500. your best bet may be to take their best deal but try and get them to add in things like floor mats or a cargo net etc stuff like that for free

I think it's definitely worth the money but it's def rough to hand over a ton of cash as a down payment

Yeah, I have already had to sell the turbo kit off my other car, and a few other things, plus not buy anything for myself since before christmas (I'm big into airsoft, so that's hard to do lol) hopefully they dealer comes back with a good number after seeing what it's like if my dad co signs.

I guess in reality I will take anything below 325, which is reasoneable, given the price of these cars, and my down. but I am already part of altura credit union through my moms account, so I think that is who the dealership is trying through. I thought maybe lease and then buy out, but my auto credit score wasn't even hi enough for that :/ lol

We went with a credit union and got 2.8%. I completely recommend going with a CU if you can.

So I heard back from the original dealership, and they told me 5% at 339 a month payments, without a co signer, so that sounds much better, and I should be getting it tonight if all goes well, wish me luck haha. guna see if they can nab the white with blue interior from the other dealership for me too

Dont sign up for that paint protection crap or extended warranty. The only thing id be looking for is gap insurance, but im not sure youd really need it if you are putting down 4500.
