Side Skirt Removal

I've been lurking the forum for quite a while now. So, first off, thank you all for the information that you have posted. The info has been great and even helped me decide on the Veloster.

I have had my car for about a week now (ordered it 9 weeks before that), and decided that it was time to plastidip the thing. I was able to get everything removed and dipped that I wanted with the exception of the grey portion of the side skirt. Can someone explain to me how to get them off? Is it possible to get off without removing the colored portion of the skirt?

Thank you all in advance

BT is damned good with this car, I must say. He is exactly right with the skirts. I was going to take them off today and dip them but the only thing that kept me from doing it was......I didn't have enough double sided tape to put them back on afterwards. I didn't even tape them. I just sprayed 4 coats or so and once I was done......I just ed a microfiber cloth and rub it off. it was actually pretty easy.
Seems like you may have done something out of the ordinary. I've not had that problem at all......and I've done front and rear badges, front lip and sides, rims, and spoiler. What did you do......from start to finish on the hood?
