Had that car had bolt ons and a tune he'd be fine. But at stock he has trouble.

So does the 1.6 use a roller timing chain as shown or a belt? I assume a chain or they wouldn't show it, and I find that comforting.

Since I am looking at this on a mobile device I can't tell if the rolling images of the car are real or animated. If they are real where do we get the Veloster grille badge? I could maybe live with the brick if it had the badge on it.

I just watched it on a full size screen and I agree that it is animated, to a point. I think some of it is hybrid animation over photography but I could be wrong, I certainly have been before.

In any event the Veloster badge found on the rear deck will work, but a slightly larger version as depicted in the video would be great. The troglodytes at the dealership used self tapping screws to attach the license plate bracket before I saw the car and am looking to both cover those holes as well as minimize the visual effect of the brick until a suitable replacement grill can be sourced.

It's chain driven. I probably wouldn't have bought one if it used a belt.

Same here, The only two cars that I've owned than used a belt was my Celica All Trac Turbos and Toyota Cressida.

Nice of them to put holes in your new car. Fuckers. This is why I insist on NO DEALER ADVERTISING (plates, stickers, anything) written into all my purchase agreements. I have de-badging written in too - let them risk scratching the paint....
