I have just received my Veloster Turbo, I am the first owner of one (that I have seen in Brisbane, not sure about Australia wide) from the dealership group I bought it through, to take delivery of a VT! Storm Trooper White M/T.
Mmmmm... the Storm Trooper MT Combo seems to be pretty popular Deekay, I have one ordered, will be at the dealer monday and I get it delivered to me on Friday :)
I'm in the process of trying to decide a colour, Stormtrooper White or Marmalade
Marmalade is actually pretty cool looking and there are plenty around (at the moment anyway) it seems each dealership i went to had one Petrol Grey (matte) and one marmalade, any other colours they were having to get in. I've done 450km's in my Storm Trooper since friday :) loving it so much.

Got a call from my dealer this arvo to let me know that my car had arrived! Thought I would grab some pics while it was all dirty outside and clean inside, because that will swap around very quickly once I get it lol

Pick up date is booked in for Tuesday afternoon :) New wheels and some super grippy tyres booked in for Wednesday morning :)

Have received my VT on Thursday of last week a Battleship Pearl Grey automatic with the lot. Have now done 250kms and am loving it. Have fitted a front strut bar and changed front and rear badges to Tomato 'T'. Baby seat fitted on non door side in rear for Grandchild. Who said this car is only for the young?
Does anyone know why our corners are yellow and EU is white?...

Probably some stupid rule from DOT. I like the yellow, it makes the headlight look like the eye of a bird.
Yep - just joined the crowd and bought a Storm Trooper A/T Veloster. Absolutely love it - just have to try and find more aftermarket suppliers who make accessories for RHD!!!

Photo's coming soon - I just need the sun to come out in Canberra when I am not at work :)
Waiting on delivery of our Young gun M/T baby, cant wait to get her home and really enjoy it in some of the best roads in the hills
Picked up my Storm Trooper M/T last Friday, grin has not left my face...:in love:
Nice one Blackjack, I'm in the middle of organising finance, and hopefully on wednesday start the negotiating.

How long did you have to wait? where abouts in Melbourne did you get it from?

Hey Bender, I orderd and got mine within a few weeks, don't ask how, let's just say its not what you know....lol
I picked it up from Essendon Hyundai, I think there is a new batch due for delieryy soon so good luck.
The car is a head turner and drives great. Hope you are going for the M/T
M/T? is that manual? if so, then yes, def manual.
Picked up my VT earlier.. Young Gun Matte A/T have driven it 50kms and loving it.. Been getting a lot of attention already..
Would any members from Melbourne be interested in a meetup/cruise take photos etc.
Well have had my Storm Trooper VT for a few weeks now and after finally figuring how to stop the radio volume dropping when near school zones, speed cameras, road works and every other friggin notification on the sat nav, I am completely happy. Went for a spin around Kinglake last weekend, nice windy roads, didn't realise speed limit was reduced to 80 on some of the stretches....but very happy with performance.
Just back from a freeway run down to the surf coast and fuel use for a still new car is incredible.

So to all the Hyundai baggers out there, times have now changed.
Last car I was this excited about was my 2003 Monaro. Yes different class, but damn I love my Hyundai.
So jealous!!!

Sounds awesome mate, what was wrong with the radio?

One of my first drives I have planned is up mount dandenong, another to the back part of Sugarloaf reserve and of course down the great ocean road

Nothing wrong with it, just disabled some of the settings in the sat nav.
Ahh k, cool. I'm now in the middle of getting qoutes, the forms are in with the bank. Hope to have one ordered shortly...... taking sooooooo long!
