Hi Everyone,

I have started to notice a weird buzzing sound coming from the back behind the driver's side and it seems to be getting worse and worse. It's more noticeable whenever I let go off the accelerator, but it happens when I accelerate too. I've pin pointed the sound which seems to be coming from underneath the passenger seat behind the driver’s side (right). I'm taking a guess here, but it might be some kind of electrical interference. It could be wiring problem perhaps? Can anyone confirm that they have the same problem? Park your car, turn off you stereo and in neutral, accelerate and decelerate. Carefully listen. It's a sound where once you hear it, you'll always notice it.

I am an owner of a new Veloster turbo with Matte finish.

I believe the stereo amp is mounted down there. Maybe yours is defective?

ya... could be the amp.....is your heated seats on at the time?

The Australian model unfortunately doesn't come with heated seats. However, the suggestion that the amp could be an issues does make sense and that it could be a possibility. I wonder if anyone else has the same issue?

I have an identical car to yours but do not have this issue. Best start by pulling the Amp fuse and go from there...

Amp is located under the front passenger seat. not sure what could be back there. The Sub is is in rear compartment on drivers side.
