Hi, I have been searching the forum for someone who has a sunshade for the rear top glass on the Vs. I did install tints (30%) but that is not enough for the top glass. I would like to know if someone has come across one that can be installed and removed as needed, like the sunshades for the windshield. Maybe a retractable one. It is pretty hot and uncomfortable in the rear with the Florida hot sun beaming down on your head.

When I had my tint installed I asked about getting my sunroof done but he suggested not doing at as the heatgun has a chance of warping the seals.. you guys have no problems with it?

When i get my windows done I plan on getting just the back roof panel done in a 5%. My kids fall asleep back there and get hot really quickly if the AC isn't of full blast so that'll be a priority. I guess as a quick fix there's the removable tint that comes in rolls at autozone that would work in a pinch.

I put 5% on mine... Seems to work pretty well. You might want to look into more tint. It used to blind my kids before the tint... Seemed to hate riding back there.
I don't blame them because I experienced it and it was no fun. That's why I am looking for a fix.

I never thought of tinting the sunroof since it already had the tint and the shade. I have not had any issues with the sunroof.

UPDATE!!!! - I went out to Walmart and bought a couple of cling shades. They are made by Auto Expressions and each was about 3.50, so very inexpensive. Took me about 15 minutes to get them on. Just peel from the backing and stick on the interior side of your clean glass, right over your tints. It works very well. I did it with the hatch fully open so it would be easy to drape the film. I installed the top part first using the antenna filaments (or defogger not sure what they are) as a guide. Then simply stick it and squeeze out any air pockets. Once you close the hatch they are not noticeable.

Here are the pics:

I had my shop tint all the glass on the top. I like riding with the roof "popped" so I knew the sun was going to be an issue. I didnt go super dark though as I do like to see the trees passing when I drive under.
