I like the way my VT drives with just me in it, but to day it was put to the test with all seats filled. Definitely can feel the handling change, its not a huge deal, but what component would likely best stiffen up the ride and make the car less "hoppy" on uneven roads and level changes. drop springs look good but will they effectively stiffen up the ride? My old car was a 99 impreza with coil-overs so this car is a far cry from the chassis on that-not that I am knocking the VT, because I do love it don't get me wrong.

TEIN USA | PRODUCTS | SUPER STREET is what I had on my old 8, Not sure if they make it for the VT yet but you can change the damping in the shock to be stiffer or softer, Be careful though I tightened them up to a stiff suspension and cracked my windshield on a pothole. ;)
It's hoppy due to the suspension design. I don't really like it personally. Other than the hoppiness, the suspension actually feels a lot stiffer to me compared to my Charger R/T.
See, to me the VT feels really stiff. Probably because my last ride (05 Elantra) had the softest suspension of life... hit a bump, and I swear she'd get air...
the VTurbo suspension is actually stiffer than most OEM suspensions I have experienced for cars like this.

I would really recommend getting the NGM springs or coils to help with some of the squirrelly characteristics of the stock rear suspension over bumps.. The NGM coils are a great price and offer a ton of adjustibility!!
The NGM coilovers will completely eliminate the hoppy feel. With these coilovers, the ride will be real tight and you'll feel the car hug the road incredibly well. (I have the NGM coils on my own VT btw).

Check out the customer feedback in THIS THREAD over on the other forum and especially that last page where there are some reviews--one from me and one from another guy who has them.
Yes , that's the right word "squirrelly" lol thx that describes it perfectly.
