Any talk of an option from Kaaz, quaife, torsen etc. phantom grip doesnt count bc grip is a bit phantom. I really beyond a tune have no interest in putting some work into this car (on top of paying for it) to play at the strip without a LS. Did that 10yrs ago with my focus, and it wont be repeated. Any word/rumblings/rumors?

There is a lot of claims of the diff being open in this car but we have not been able to get the car to "one wheel wonder" at the track yet. Has anyone confirmed that it doesn't have some sort of LSD or twin trunion cross shafts in the differential? If you take a corner hard and floor it the car still picks up speed as if the outside tire is trying to apply traction, the inside tire is spinning but there is still a felt effect of traction.

I guess going from the Dodge Dart as our last shop project to the VT makes a huge difference. The Dart would damn near come to a stop mid corner when the inside tire lost traction, the VT doesn't feel the same way.

At the drag strip, every time we leave the line it has two tire strips showing at the starting line. Every time we do a burnout, its both wheels spinning. If it doesn't have a LSD, I would be willing to bet it has twin cross shafts in the diff with 6 or 8 spider gears.

I've hit corners pretty hard to the point where I can guarantee our cars have an open diff.
An open diff and a very loose LSD feel similar. I just find it odd how the car spins the wheels (both of them) every time from a stop?

It has an open diff guys---it's not great at a technical track and we spin the wheels fairly easily---it'll want to push off the track from mid corner out. I've spoke with KAAZ and OS Giken and it wasn't in they're radar as of yet. I wonder if the folks that ran the KIA in Grand-am have any info about whether the boxes are similar?

I had a OS Giken Clutch and flywheel in the mini along with the quaife LSD. OS Giken has some really good stuff and their clutch pack LSD was faster around the track than the quaife altho its basicly a wear item.
