Folks, don't get me wrong, lol ... I love my VT, but recently started to miss the power I used to have on my Speed6.

I've been checking online and narrowed my search to the Hyundai Genesis Coupe, mainly because its price and decent power.

Has someone driven one and how would it compare to the VT, not in terms of mpg, but suspension and maneuverability. VTs suspension is kind of soft, in my opinion.

well there is a huge difference imo. gen coupe feels like a sports car where the vt feels like a sporty car until you do some suspension mods.

I would have a gen coupe if I was done having babies. We hope to have 1 more child, plus my son is still in rear facing and rear facing in genesis coupe is like HAH. Trust me I tried. Wife was like Nope.

I for one think gen coupe is badass, but if looking at the 2.0t I would still look at an frs/brz personally as well.

The suspension is better & it handles a bit better than the VT, but the 2.0T is whack unless you heavily mod. IMO! The 3.8 is a Beast, but remember it's a V6. Gas mileage won't be too great. Why not just get a drop, sway bars & a tune? You'll be running with the 3.8's with a tune....If you get a Gen you will be a part of the unexclusive Gen world  So many Gens out there compared to VT's...Food for thought!

Always remember one thing though, if your not happy, your not happy. Don't worry about what other people think! it's your ride & you pay the note on it.

The 2015 has some really low and comfortable seats that need to be in the VT right meow

rwd is more "fun" to drive, but it costs more on the wallet!

You hit the nail!

I tested drive the Genesis when i bought the VT. The lack of doors and cramped back seat was a no to my wife; we are planning to have a baby this year.

I thought about upgrading the suspension, but not sure how expensive that will be. The VT will still be a "sporty" car. Awesome with mpg, but not as powerful.

The V6 is out of the equation, too expensive. If I was going to spend that money, I would prefer to get a Subaru. I have equity on the VT and the 24k price of the 4 cylinder turbo is very appealing to me.

well if you are planning to have a baby, my advice would be to keep the vt! vt has plenty of room for rear facing car seats. When the kids go front facing. Get a gen coupe. Who knows what will be out by then anyways. maybe this:

True!

I forgot to say that wife's car is an 2012 MX5, which is RWD, but AT. I love how it handles, love that car. But it also limits my option. Like ... I should not get another roadster and I should get something a bigger and probably better with gas.

^^^Word...I have a 3 yr old as well & the main reason I didn't get the Gen. Actually much happier with the VT, I think, than I would have with a Gen. This this is moar peppy than 90% of people think & once you know how to drive it well, it's capable or moar than you initially think.

If they bring the stinger out looking like this, I will happily not buy it. The front did not look good at the auto show, and unfortunately no one could see the inside but I bet that was the best part about it.

Back before my tune when I just had intake and exhaust, I was right there with the 2.0T's. Now with stage 1 its no contest. A rear torsion bar and some sort or front pierce brace and its a great handler as well. Plus I just took a road trip and set cruise at 65 MPH and got 37mpg(there), and 34mpg(back). Those 2.0T's don't get great gas mileage, and it was also on the list for 2013's ten least reliable cars.

Then again I bought the VT mainly for its looks.

Just some input.
