I currently have no resonator, and a 11224 Magnaflow muffler and I love the sound But I want it to be a bit louder, so I am wondering if I Should remove The secondary cat. Anyone have an Opinion on this Or even personal experienc?
alot of high flow cats still trip a code unfortunately you could.. just gut it yourself..with a crow bar.. then use a spark plug anti fowler to space out your o2 sensor and that might take care of the problem (it does for some cars)I actually talked to a muffler shop about this yesterday and since there is a stupid sensor there they say a strait pipe would trip a code. i really just wanted to rip out the one right before the resonator though. probably will just end up putting in a high flow cat
yup it's a nice way to get around the "visual" inspection some places do for cats as well as still kinda maintain legality lol but have a better flowing exhaust at the same timeSome you have to use two antifoulers. As long as its far enough away that it doesn't sense the extra flow. Had to use two on my s2000.
