Throttle Body Coolant Bypass

What size hose and what length, did you have to get for the bypass of the intake manifold?
if you want to just do a quick bypass of the throttle body, all you need is the elbow and clamps.

with what i've been talking about is i went a step further and removed the intake manifold and removed the coolant hoses that are connected to the back of the intake manifold and i put in a new hose from the oil cooler to the water neck to bypass both the throttle body and the intake manifold

Did you use a 1/4 NPT tap? What size drill bit did you use?

Probably go with 3/8 inch heater hose next time and it will fit better. Thanks for the info!
when i bypassed both i believe i used 1/2 heater hose.. it was about 1 1/2 feet long, maybe a little more... the hose didnt fit entirely snuggly on the block or oil cooler barbs, but when you are disconnecting the stock lines, you can reuse 2 of the smaller quick clamps and they will help seal the 1/2 hose onto the barbs nicely...

the smaller clamps are a little pain and even more painly to get over the knubs on the barbs, but its all for a better seal in the end... so far... knock on wood... no leaks.

By the way, I drilled and tapped my 60mm yesterday. I strongly suggest going with a 21/64 drill bit so as not to thin the wall too much. You'll see what I mean if you place an 11/32 bit on top of where you need to drill. It will thin the wall too much. So, make sure you have a 1/8 NPT tap, tapping oil, 21/64 bit, and a 1/8 NPT (MPT) to 3/8" barb. Take your time with the tapping though, so you can get a good, straight tap. Everything will be perfect:)
i typed out what i did in my pictures in the description... i know not as good without pictures or videos and such... honestly i tried to make a video, but i noticed after 10mins of talking to myself in the garage when my camera battery died after 2mins after turning it on, didnt leave me in the lets take a break and charge the camera mood.

kinda sucks... i really wish i would have pursued making sure my camera was fully ready to go, but my time is extremely limited for extra things and will get even more so in the near future.

maybe in the future if i ever do get time... maybe if i ever get the ability to do the 60mm throttle body, maybe ill take some extra time and pull the manifold off and show everything... honestly it is pretty easy... just cant be scared

Hey guys, has anyone done the TB Bypass and the intake manifold bypass? If I bypass both, it this the correct routing and if so, what do you recommend plugging the nipples (on the intake where the hoses used to connect from the TB and the Oil Cooler) with? I've drawn a red line where I suspect the routing should go but if I'm wrong, let me know. I'm guessing the Oil Cooler is on top of where the oil filter screws in?
