just did this this morning. took 1.5 hours! an hour of it was trying to get the clamp on the inside hose off. both clamps were facing away from me. ended up using some pliers that could fit into the small space and rotating the clamp bit by bit. all I did was remove my intake though, so tight space in there.

would there be any problems if the inside of my engine bay had coolant over it? leaked a bunch.

PROBLEM.

Just took it out for a drive. Temps are way up (one bar from the top). Coolant is leaking out of the throttle body? Going to investigate now and check connections.

Coolant is half full.

Does this look right?

Looks right, its been a while since I did mine, and I can't look at mine bc the engine is gone. Lol Did you look under the radiator cap to check fluid? Try maneuvering that hose under the throttle body, maybe it just has a bubble stuck in there somewhere.

Think the line is kinked?

Thanks voodoo. I'll run out and get some.

If temps rose you got an air bubble in the system, pop the cap off and see if you can burp the system

This happened to me on the dyno. Air bubble caused overheating,..and pulled timing. I took time opened the radiator cap let her warm up thoroughly. Burped her by massaging the coolant hoses, and she was all better !!

Dont fret she will be ok,...just let her warm up all the way with the radiator cap off parked on a level surface,..some will pour on the ground especially when you burp her. You will be able to tell when the air comes out, then with the cap off,..top her off when the air bubble is out.

The cap with the DON'T TOUCH picture? I just twisted it and it made a sound like a baby's fart.

Ok still have high temps. No leak now though. Gah.

That's what I just did. Then drove around for 15 mins, did a couple hard pulls. TEMPS ARE NORMAL!

Thanks for all the help everyone. If your ever in the Orange County area PM me and I'll buy you a drink. Seriously.
