I have heard that it is best with sunroofs to use a reflective tint rather than a darker tint as the dark tint absorbs more heat and the chance of the glass shattering is much higher. In saying that, there was a V+ at my local dealer, someone had tried to break in through the sunroof one night using a besser brick, brick broke into two and the roof cracked, but was still in tact. Would probably take a sledge hammer to break through that glass.

yeah, you can tint it but it is already tinted to somewhere between 5% and 20%. Tinting it more will help with the sun but will let less light in and you wont be able to see out of it very well.

My guys at my shop PTAP broke it down to me that if you tint the sun roof the film will eventuly crack or come off at worse case it can shatter the glass.... Ok befor you go on an saying BULL SHIII like i did, well the reason is the type of glass used and the film that is all ready applied. So there is a correct film to use just for sun roofs but its not cheap so thats my info on this.
