Having a MT, I cannot remote start so that is 1 point against it. But there seems to be some nice features. However a lot of that is covered by my insurance anyway. At any rate what is everyone's opinion on Bluelink.

Now that is very nice and a heck of a lot cheaper!

Also with a MT the bluelink is pointless without being able to remote start.. Very disappointed.. I have noticed also when using the other features it requires a good signal or won't send the signal to the car which also frustrated me.. I will most likely never sign up for bluelink.. Unless it magically worked for remote start since I love in an apartment and would like to start it on bad weather days so that when I make my journey to the very farthest spot away from everyone, I won't spend more time letting the car warm up

The only thing I got from Bluelink was traffic and weather. Both of them were inferior to my smartphone but it was handy to have it on the NAV screen.

When I saw the price for the annual Bluelink subscription I was stunned.

It is worth about $50 a year to me.

The remote start is cool when it works. But I keep forgetting its there, so I never use it. If it was maybe a quarter of the cost id get it, but not over 300 bucks for everything.

The auto-start was the one key feature I really wanted in my VT as well but once I chose to go with a manual transmission that option went out the window. I then chose not to buy the Bluelink service after my trial expired, the subscription fees are ridiculously expensive. They wanted to charge me nearly $400.00 for everything.

Hey guys, what does it mean when Hyundai says that I will lose my turn-by-turn navigation if I dont renew my bluelink? Mine already expired but I can still use my navigation.
If you don't have the Navigation system the BlueLink operator will give you directions as you are driving. If you have Nav it's pointless, unless its a road that's not in your map. But even then, 99% of us have smart phones and that's the navigation plan B.

I just cancelled my xm subscription since I can stream Iheart radio through my Bluetooth stereo.

the lady at my dealership told me a neat little tid bit about the sat. radio, which is seperrate from bluelink. when the xm expires and they start calling you to renew, just say no blah blah, then ask them about the lifetime of the car subscription, they will not tell you unless you know about it, and it is like 500 or something. but as long as the car and stereo work, it has xm.
