nice to see another utahan join welcome!!!I am not so much worried with how fast it can go, just worried about how quick I can get there. Has anyone timed their fastest 0-60 mph? I live in SLC so I can go out to the salt flats and go as fast as I would like, just need to go do it.
The only vehicle that ever beat me on a track was a 997 stage 3. He could only get past me though from about 140mph+Id take a 911 Turbo S myself![]()

Please stop, I have been in Emergency Medical services, for nearly twenty years, don't worry about about a helmet or a roll cage, you flip this car at 150 and your a memory. There is nothing and EMT, Doctor or God himself can do for you.I have some thoughts about finding the VT's top speed.
First, it is going to need W or Y rated tires. Nitrogen is a given.
Second, it is going to have to be lowered to do above 150. Above 100 speed becomes all about aerodynamics. The VT sits way too high and at 150 there is way too much air underneath it that will cause lift. The rear wing and diffuser is cool and all but it is not on the deck like a Corvette, M3 or 911 that can break 150 by design.
Third, if you aren't going to have a rollcage and a helmet you are going to need an ambulance and a hospital nearby. At 150+ if you roll the VT it won't hold up well and you will need immediate access to EMTs and quick access to a trauma center.

The body didn't respond well to severe deceleration. it comes apart like legos, if your luck enough to survive the high velocity collision which you won't, aortic and spinal chord tear will finish you off for your sake quickly..
I can't even begin to remember how many motor vehicle fatalities I have worked. There is one constant no one survives open road collisions at those speeds without significant safety standards, a helmet, airbag or a seat belt isnt going to do you much good.
Not to mention the damage your irresponsible behavior will cause innocent bystanders.
Look I'm not telling you not to do it, just remember that all decisions have consequences, some more pleasant that others.Fortunately I am immortal, and will be until the day I die!
