Seems as good a place as any to ask this question...

Haven't quite gotten around to customising my VT to within an inch of her life (still deciding on personal plates after being bummed that "Satsuma" had gone here in CA)

Anyway, pretty sure this won't be the first or last question on paint... tried ordering touch-up paint / pen, clearcoat and primerfor my VT Vitamin C to repair a couple of annoying stone chips I'd picked up... After two weeks thought I'd chase only to be told that they'd lost the order! (Wonder why I didn't buy my VT from the local dealer????). Pretty hacked-off to be honest, so would appreciate if anyone knows whether you can order genuine Hyundai paint from elsewhere or can recommend a really good alternative.

Thanks in advance!

My dealership was actually able to order me a pend/touch up paint deal for my elite white. I haven't used it yet as I was waiting on getting back from my road trip here to FL.

Anyone have any suggestions on the best method for putting this touch up paint on the ole girl?

How much did they charge you for the touch up kit?

Think I'll give the Dr Colorchip a shot since I have plenty of chips from driving I95.

they charged me 11 bucks. waited about 4-5 days to get it in. I don't remember the paint code off the top of my head but it is on the inner driver's door.
For white VT none metallic the code is PGU. The pen says crystal white while Canadian cars are sold as century white. Same diff, looks like white out anyways :p

Like Elite said, it's on the door jam on a black sticker. It lists the exterior and interior colour code

You'll love it, unlike other touch up kits, you won't even notice the chip has been fixed.. It's insane!! :)

Cheers everyone. I'll try another dealer first failing that I'll try Dr colorchip or automotivetouchup (got a recommendation from a colleague at work). Like they can provide the filler and clearcoat as a one stop shop.
