Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about getting an aftermarket air intake system. Would it be debatable whether a tune is required after installation? If so, can a tune be done for the VT yet?

Not needed, the ECU is clever enough to fix that for you. It's kind of like when you get a tune before bolt ons. It really doesn't matter because the tuned ECU will also adjust as needed.

Yeah, the stock ECU can handle a wide variety of mild modifications.

At some point, if you make a lot of modifications a tuned ECU will be required to get the full benefit from them.

Hopefully, a tuned ECU will be commonly available soon.
