When I bought my turbo on 7-26 the dealer said Hyundai will cover the wheels "IN FULL" for dents (because of the low profile tires) and curb rash. Also any door dings will be covered in full as well. So think twice about changing wheels.

The wheels are covered by the wheel company. Limited warranty. The dings and scratches are covered under an additional warranty that consists of them putting a protective paint coating on. I am taking mine in sometime this week for that.

My dealer offered me the same but under an additional warranty that I purchased from them for my NAV. Got it specifically because ill be turning in the NAV for the VT and didn't want any money taken off for any dings or scratches. Had two rims fixed so far.

wow, that is insane that they would cover the wheels for issues caused by the low profile tires or peoples driving habits..

Speaking of the turbo wheels, I kinda miss them, they did look pretty cool! But dropping 20lbs of unsprung weight and getting a nicer stance while setting the car apart seems worth it.. .I think :p

Which one was this again? I wasn't informed of anything about the protective coat paint or the wheels being covered by anyone...

5x114 bolt pattern - thanks for the information, but the offsets listed on Tirerack range from 38 to 42. I'm wondering if someone has purchased aftermarket wheels and how they like the offset and stance if they went +1 or whatever the choice.
