We are proud to introduce our newest product to our line which is also the cheapest way to add a nice BOV to your car without an FMIC kit or any charge piping modifications.

The only modification you have to make also doubles as a nice way to show off this beautiful piece. I am going to work up a template that I can send each customer so they can accurately cut the opening needed for the BOV. This will be a simple paper template that you can trace over for cutting.

The installation should take about an hour or so including cutting and is very straight forward..

Remove the bumper, make the cuts on the bumper cover, remove the 3 bolts holding on the stock BOV, install the BOV on the adapter, bolt it on and hook up the new vacuum line.. The most time intensive part of the process will be the bumper removal and cutting the hole.

The difficulty of this modification I would say would be around a 3 because of the cutting involved.

The BOV opens very easily and I doubt it will even trip the CEL. I will keep up with the guinea pig about this. It also sounds just like the real HKS.

I recommend being very careful removing the stock vacuum line from the solenoid as the vacuum nipple broke off when I initially tried it, didn't know it was plastic.

Without further adieu... Pics!

You should get a new adapter plate machined that's shorter than the stock plate since we don't need the functionality of it anymore. That would work wonders for the height issues even with the Forge. Could potentially gain up to an inch by just going to a 1/4" flange on top...or even an 1/8" if you wanted to.

doing a custom plate might be an idea but might not be with the time and money invested. I'll look into it though.

that thing just stays there... it is the stock bypass plate which is blocked off by the adapter!

will post the link to the video in a sec!

It's only a matter of time before someone asks this: How do you put this on the FMIC kit?

I like the sound.. but not break the car..
There's nothing breaking the car. Cutting out that bit of plastic won't have any effect.
