My pleasure-it's nice to be able to bolt something on the car and notice a difference/feel like you've gained something...so many of the products sold just don't function as intended.
Turbosocks Rigid Collar Kit
Hey guys---Turbosocks sent me out a set of his collars to figure out a solution to work with our braces and I've had them on the car now for a week---thought I'd do a quick review. Very cool pieces! They showed up after just 2-3 days and were packaged nicely/labeled fr/rr (which matters!). They're an anodized (?) red color and the machine work is very nice. They installed easily enough after following his instructions---and they are a very tight fit really centering the bolts/subframe. My first drive home I noticed a more solid feeling---I think I noticed it more in the seat than in the wheel and it did feel like I could sense engine movement and more of the road---more solid over bumps. I haven't been to the track yet, but I'm looking forward to doing more testing. Every little bit helps and I think it's a very good bang for the buck improvement!

I just have the 2 point brace on my car---believe it or not I'm not allowed to use the 4/6 point braces in my class---it's too big of a point's hit...
There is actually---I don't remember what thread it's in---but I posted a bit of info and pics, but basically the large washer needs to be removed from the rear bolt (or just get another pair of bolts without the washer) and the hole in the brace needs to be opened up a bit---we checked about 3 braces here and they all we're very close to each other...
Absolutely---and the 6 point clears all the exhausts.i plan on the 6pt in the future and have the collars on order atm. Can I have the nessasary modifications made before ordering? oh and will the 6pt fit aftermarket exhausts without issue. i think theres a x bar out there that makes it impossible or hit or miss. just leaning foward on my research.
I think your on the right track---I've instructed at quite a few arrive and drive programs with MINI/BMW and have driven the S many times at the track---I think the mini S is sprung a bit stiffer than the Veloster, but it's certainly attainable with all the work your doing. The V's wheelbase/track just feels "bigger" than the mini as well which will help.
