so guys ive updated to 19" wheels and sold the original tyres. Not knowing till i got home that the light for the tyre pressure system was illuminated. I returned to the dealer a few days later and informed him the car has a system fitted for pressure he wasnt aware. Now ive been told by hyundai there like $200 each to replace and that the warning code cant be deactivated. What to do

They'll be a lot less to replace with aftermarket sensors - but you should find the car realizes they're gone after so many kilometers - you might not have gone far enough yet.

Veloster.org has mentioned the replacements in a couple of threads, and I've seen some on eBay, around $30 each, from memory.
