I live in Indiana and we don't have front license plates. I'm hoping that ugly brick in the grill is removable, it will be the first thing gone when I drive my silver beast home.

It is not removable, it's molded onto the grill. You will need an aftermarket option or to modify it off.

Wow, I am surprised, I also was thinking it just unbolted. Well, someone out there will probably custom fiberglass it. I also see it being popular enough to warrant aftermarket grills

yeah, sucks that it is probably part of the mold, but I would pay money to get an aftermarket without it for SURE. We don't use front plates here and having that stupid brick would suck.

I'm in one of those damnn states that require a front plate
Currently I go front plateless on one of my cars, but at the VT will be doing a lot of daily driving duties it is too much of a hassle to go plateless
I think what I'm going to try is to ignore the big molded piece of plastic and do a offset plate mount using the tow hook threads

I hope they develop something cool like that will look mean with a Garrett FMIC setup. I remember actually giving the salesman a hard time when I first saw it from far away, I was like "I specifically told you I didn't want the front license plate mount on the car." It took him a few seconds to convince me it was like that from the factory though. I was slightly upset.
