So some NAV guy has an instagram page called Velosternation. Featuring some cool Velosters so far. I especially like a certain boston red one with Rally Armor Flaps and a Yakima rack in the snow...lol.

Anyway, he had some VT on there that is "claiming" to be pushing 25 lbs of boost running an EBC. I'm calling BS. Anyone else see this or hear of this? I'm just thinking if something like that were happening it would have been talked about in this community right?

Ok, now I'm DEFINITELY calling BS on the car. And that was my first hint that it was BS, because the IC looked identical to yours and in his pics he credited someone else, or said something about it being a complete custom job, no credit to TS, but I was fairly certain it was your kit.

Looks like someone is full of it.

It would be easy to fool the PCM and not show the actual boost (done it before on other platforms). Then install an electronic or manual boost controller, adjust boost to your desired level. Easy, but how safe it would be big ? mark.

pushing boost that high would probably be unsafe.. however doing it with a MBC is better then just unhooking the solenoid all together IMO

that being said I invited him to our dyno day.. i'd like to see his setup and what power he puts down with his EBC against a tuned car
