I could fab you a upgraded turbo manifold/ turbo but that won't help tuning.. I'd say just hold onto the car.. the EVO and veloster are 2 totally different cars. We have a lot of upgrades in store for you guys, we just have to get around to them. Obviously we did the FMIC setup first, next we're doing catback and down pipe.. if you guys those mods as well it'll definitely wake the care up even more ( not evo status, but it's a start) after that we plan on doing turbo manifolds, but theres no point for us to start on one now when theres no method to tune
also I'm in touch with 2 companies, one about testing just porting and polishing the stock manifold/ turbo, another about doing a bigger wheel in the stock turbo.. both of which will probably require tunes (the first option less so)

Im all in for a bigger turbo...dont see the point with messing with the stock one...its too small...and will ever be.

we're looking at stuffing a larger K04 wheel into the turbo, one that is good for well over 300 whp, as well as possibly a 2860 it's similar sized ( slightly bigger) but still.. Like I said it's not the only thing we're going to bring to you though just one option to be cost effective.. most people aren't going to be pushing this car over what either turbo will support for a while more then likely.
that being said I need to get another turbo or take my stock turbo off and send it to the companies. If I have to take mine off that probably wont happen till the end of summer or beginning of spring. (i'm actually taking my upgraded turbo off of my ion to send back to send to said company to upgrade further lol at the end of july)

this car just needs some serious tuning. IMO Hyundai did not finish or rushed it to production.

Even if the VT had 400HP it probably still wouldn't beat an EVO to 60. The EVO is a track monster that gets crappy MPG. Its not real multidimensional like the VT is.

I've seen the tuning thing come up so often around here, it's itching now. I know everyone wants a simple plug & play or tuned ecu, but there are full stand alone engine management systems that you guys can wire in yourself.

Did. (past tense) '12 model tho... / I wouldn't mind sitting in a Genesis '13 2.0T model. I can make that a beast once again where it will break necks. Put on ARK v2 Grip Exhaust on that puppy, avant garde rims (like Scottcho's 5 spoke), and slap a bigger turbo cause they're available and I could save a lot more...
Nice, just sent you a PM on about it. I got an MR going for 45K that's a bit too much though but there's a GSR that should be 10K less that I'd like to check out. She's white exactly how I like them to be. (the car guys, the car...)

LOL, the price of a dyno compared to an EMS is night and day. Or Earth and Pluto? Or Lambo to Hyundai.
